Slope is an online 3D endless runner in which you guide a ball along neon slope platforms that stretch into the distance. The path is made of inclined segments that rise and fall, and your score increases with the distance the ball travels—typically one point per slope passed. The ball rolls forward on its own and speeds up over time, so the game quickly becomes a test of reaction speed and steering. Unlike flat endless runners where the character can stand still without input, the ball in Slope is always moving on angled surfaces, so you must constantly correct its path to avoid falling off or hitting obstacles.
In mathematics, slope describes the steepness of a line and the direction it rises or falls. Game designers use similar ideas when building inclines: the angle and layout of slopes affect how the ball accelerates and rolls, giving the game a clear sense of momentum and difficulty. Many action and endless runner games use slopes as the main path the player must navigate; the ball rolls downhill on its own and slows when going uphill, adding a layer of challenge that flat surfaces do not offer.
